Of all the animals that I shot, only a few of them stood out.. only those who bothered to look into my camera and show a little interest on me or whatever.  Though I can tell at some point that not all of them were eager to show off those cute smiles and tantalizing eyes but I think I managed to catch them on time.

Shadow's eyes

The crocodiles' smiles and those eyes were telling me that they're ready to jump off and play catch with me.  I was on a high place (a very safe place) so taking their pictures on the angle that I like was like a risk not to drop my camera and/or not to have my arm chopped off when they jump.  (I know.. my imagination's running wild like all the time!)

The ostrich was quite big and tall and they're really going near people and people going near them.  I was still using flash then (I know it sounds stupid to use flash outdoor in a very sunny morning), and I thought the flash of the light might irritate them and they might nibble me for good, so I took a few steps back before I took a few shots and I love how it turned out.  Those eyes and the smile are the cutest I've seen in a bird in my whole life.

That dog was barking mad when we got to our friend's house in Bataan.. and if I remember it correctly, he shut when he noticed a flash of light coming from behind him.  I don't think he was impressed.  We spent the night there so he had to be tied for our safety.

But it was Shadow's eyes that really made me do this post.  I edited his photo using Flickr's photo editing tool, and I'm so impressed.  And the rest; the shih tzu, the fish, and the goat.. they're looking clueless of what was going on.. still cute nonetheless.
