In El Nido, there is what they call the "Snake Island", where you can cross one island to the other on foot in the middle of the sea.. sounds magical isn't it?  It would really looked like you're walking in the water in-between-islands!  How fascinating is that?  This is by far my most favorite island.. but this long stretch also sinks.  It rained after a few minutes of our stay in the other side, so we've got to hurry back to our boat before we lose our path.

They said both sides of the lane are shallow.. but it's a little blue, and the water's almost covering our way, so I ignored all the small fishes and the hermits I found which I almost stepped into, and focused on walking.

This long stretch is S-shaped, it really looks like a snake on the top.. if only I was on a better angle.  But this guy's resourcefulness is something to look up to.

There were dogs in the island too, which was a bit surprising.  I think they're guarding something.  There were also monkeys, but we only saw one, which transferred from one tree to another.. It's really cute.  There are pitcher plants too, and some other species, I think.. on the way up to the view deck to get a full view of El Nido.. or the just the islands surrounding it.

But those creatures we didn't see, because Vicente, who was in-charged of guiding us to the peak didn't bother telling us.  And it was too late until Loloy mentioned all about it.  We were already eating lunch and were preparing to take off the island.

But before we took off, after lunch, while we're talking about stuff.. came the "celebrities" to also have their lunch in their boat.. and so I told them why I called this couple "the celebrities".  Well, maybe they really are celebrities in their country for that girl to act like one.

Mangroves on both sides of the island.. which became our temporary shelter when it rained, but it's for the cameras of course.

...and soon we're heading to Matinloc Shrine.
