Our trip to the world's largest bat colony is the highlights (for me) of our Davao tour. This cave which houses millions of fruit bats is the prettiest and foulest thing I've seen. I can't remember asking if you can enter the cave, but maybe you can if your nose is strong enough to endure the pain.

eugh, bat caves smell, i'd properly not enter their, it's bad enough with penguins in the outdoors, let alone an enclosed space
ReplyDeletehaha the entrance's smell was so strong, I don't think anyone can stay there for long, especially inside. Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteI think I should drop by my blog often.
I have seen fruit bats in captivity and am always surprised how big they are so I can sort of imagine a large colony in a cave might pong a bit! Thank you for adding your batty post to #AnimalTales
ReplyDeleteI will post more pictures of the cave.. it has like 4 huge entrances, I just need to update my blog a little bit more like before.
DeleteThanks for dropping by and for featuring my post on Twitter!
