zee octopuzez poze in front of mee

Forgive me for that kind of title but I'm running out of topic, and since it's the last of the A-Z Challenge (yes, I/we did it!), I made it extra-ordinary.

these octopuses

These octopuses brought their camera in front of me while they knew that I got there first and had been taking pictures of my family while swimming.  They might have thought I would leave where I was standing and let them take away my position.. but I did not.  Instead, I took a lot of pictures of their backs, their huge backs until they can't take anymore they left.  I think they stood there for a minute or two.

This photo and this A-Z Challenge story deserves a congratulations for not letting these octopuses dominate the great view and for continuing with the challenge even if most of time I question myself if I still can go on.  But I did and we made it and congratulations!

empty stalls look haunted in the morning

This is how they look like in the morning; the tiangge stalls right beside the fx terminal.

Some of them, the vendors, are already preparing, arranging their products while some are still snoring, too tired to get up even though they close as early as 6pm.. all of them.  It could have been better really if they extend it up to 12 midnight.

PS.
I renamed the title because I do think it look haunted.  :>

Happy Christmas!

This was our Christmas tree last year.. or last two years, I think.  We were watching a movie, if I remember it correctly, that's why the lights were off, and I decided not to use flash to get a different result, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

shroooms

This pretty little kingdom grew in our small garden one morning, and I was lucky to see them in full bloom because they died a few hours after taking this shot.  It was kinda difficult shooting them, and some of our neighbors were puzzled what I was doing, but I didn't mind.  I was almost kissing the ground, not to mention there was a shit near them.. I think that was Shadow's but I had to do what I had to do.

photo of the week: sunrise at pilahan

sunrise at pilahan

Its position was taken by the monkey man last week because he'd waited too long and been posing like a king for quite a while, so I thought I'd give it to him.  And now, I'm giving you "sunrise at pilahan" as my photo of the week".  It was included in my post about the fx drivers' rally for their fight which I think is ugh, come on.

I won't understand their side because I'm not a driver, but my father was.  He was a long time taxi driver and he agrees of this new law of excessively fining the "colorum vehicles" and traffic violators.  But that's not what the photo is about.  It's about how early I must be in the station to get a ride to the office for me not to be late.  As early as 6am.

they rally; we're sorry

I was on a rush to the fx terminal (well, I'm always on a rush) when I noticed there's no long line of passengers, neither of vehicles.. which was fine, I'll just have to wait for a few.  But the lady cleaner said "no vehicles will arrive today, they're on a rally", and I responded in my head like "what would they rally about? fare hike?"

I didn't know about this, but the other passenger said, she remembered it was announced, and that it's going to be today.  So how are we going to get to work? tricycle? or maybe a pedicab would do.

Taking the jeep or a bus is not an option; they have different routes with very bad traffic.. and taking a taxi will cost me my breakfast and lunch and merienda money.  Thankfully, a few of other passengers agreed to share the taxi with me.. still a bit pricey but at least we got to our office on time, and I was able to save my breakfast and lunch money.. never mind the merienda.

Apparently, these drivers were not asking for a fare hike, which is a good news, but what they're fighting for, what they're grieving about is the implementation of the higher fines on "colorum" or unlicensed public utility vehicles (PUVs).. and also higher fines (I think) for traffic violations.  But I'm not going to write about it because this is such a long talk.. and it's not interesting to talk about.

I just kinda missed them, beautiful fx drivers this morning.
But if you want to know more about it, go here.. that would be cool.

And what I also missed was my internet.  I lost my connection in 2 days because of idiocy and me being an oldy.. yeahh, I forgot to pay the bill.  But I wasn't completely internet-free because I have unlimited access in the office.. It's just I wasn't able to post something nice on Tuesday or yesterday (as if).. but what I actually missed during those no-internet-nights was stalking my favorites sites.  :>
I missed my eye bags.

This was taken at the fx terminal a few months ago, maybe it was around February, when it's still dark at 6 o'clock in the morning... I like this shot of the almost sunrise.
