I'm gonna go back to the 5th of February in the year 2014.. yeah, a few months we went to Mt. Pinatubo -- an active volcano in Tarlac.. actually it covers 3 provinces; Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga. Its last eruption was in 1991 which produced the second largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century, according to Wikipedia.
It's sort of a paradise right now, actually it was quite amazing that we made it there.. after the long walk and crawling on stairs which was quite fun, you'd be proud of yourself that you did it.. it's all worth it. It's sort of a paradise because you can not swim in the lake.. well you can try, but you will die.
This 4v4 ride which lasted for an hour will take you to the drop off station where you will start walking.. it's just 2 hours, it's nothing. It was the ride that was actually a little bit difficult. It was shaky, dusty, windy, but I remember I fell asleep on our way back to the camp. I think all of us fell asleep. We were all tired but we enjoyed it, and that great experience will last forever.. and I'm happy to say that I shared it with the best people I could think of. :>
You can check out the rest of the story in my last post "a long trek to Mount Pinatubo's crater lake" with all the photos and everything.
it looks like an old film photo done in black and white.
ReplyDeleteThe glass work in my photo is done by an artist whose last name is Chihuly. He has glass work all over the world.
What an experience and well captured in BW ~
